The Pit Bull Federation has been contacted by members of the public to confirm a fundraising/donation run that is being held with the aim of sponsoring a “meeting with the minister”.
- We would firstly like to make it clear that the PBFSA has no knowledge of the meeting.
- This fundraiser is not ours.
- We would not request money to attend a meeting.
- We do not know who “the minister” who is being referred to is.
The public needs to understand that there are no other parties other than those mentioned in the Department of Agriculture’s (DALRRD) press release.
We caution anyone to request proof of any claims made with regards to “fighting for pit bulls” before donating funds.
